Actress Kajol and her daughter Nysa Devgan visited the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai on Sunday, where they were spotted in traditional Indian outfits.
Nysa wore a white salwar and dupatta, while Kajol donned a floral kurta and brown sunglasses.
Fans of Nysa were pleasantly surprised to see her dressed in ethnic attire, as she is often seen at parties and events in more Westernized outfits.
However, some fans defended Nysa, stating that people can still be religious and visit temples even if they choose to wear Western clothing at other events.
In recent weeks, Nysa has been a regular on the party circuit, including celebrations for the New Year and Christmas.
On the other hand, Kajol has been busy with her acting career.
She recently appeared in the film “Salaam Venky,” which received positive reviews from audiences.
In addition, she will soon be seen in the Indian adaptation of the American show “The Good Wife,” streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
In the series, Kajol plays a housewife who becomes a lawyer after her husband’s scandal lands him in jail.
