Mumbai: Aditya Singh Rajput, a well-known actor from the popular TV show Splitsvilla, was discovered dead in his apartment on May 22.

The 32-year-old actor, who also worked as a model and casting director, was lifeless in his bathroom.

According to the police, Rajput had been unwell for the past few days and collapsed in his apartment’s bathroom in the Oshiwara area earlier today.

Reports are suggesting that a drug overdose may have caused his death.

One of Rajput’s friends discovered him in the bathroom.

The actor’s maid noticed the incident and informed the building’s security guard, who promptly rushed him to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.

“We haven’t found anything suspicious about Rajput’s death thus far. An accidental death report (ADR) has been filed, and his body has been sent for autopsy,” stated an official.

Aditya Singh Rajput, originally from Delhi, began his career in the entertainment industry as a model.

He gained significant popularity after appearing on reality TV shows like Splitsvilla Season 9, Love, Ashiqui, Code Red, Aawaz Season 9, and Bad Boy Season 4.

Rajput also participated in various reality shows, such as “Splitsvilla,” and appeared in movies like Krantiveer and Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara.

He was featured in over 300 advertisements throughout the years and established connections with numerous brands and fellow actors.

His sudden demise has left the industry in shock. Aditya Singh Rajput was well-known in Mumbai’s glamour scene and frequently attended parties and page 3 events.
